After some tense missions and Bre spending a lot of time training Eva, Luke got Eva to come over and watch the kids for the night. After some clumsy missteps due to Luke blindfolding Bre to make their evening a surprise, he finally picked her up and carried her to the luxury tree house at the edge of the property. With everything going on lately the tree house had sat unused all of Spring and he thought the little staycation away from all of the daily distractions might be just what they needed.
Bre was glad to get the blindfold off, just in time to enjoy a light picnic dinner among the fireflies outside of the tree house as the sun began to set. She couldn’t resist snuggling up to her thoughtful husband as they watched the sunset.
As night fell they headed inside and went up to the sleeping loft, but were too keyed up to go to sleep. So what does a couple do when they have a night away and can’t sleep? Have a pillow fight, of course!
After wearing themselves out and making a mess out of the loft with their shenanigans, they grabbed the bedding and headed downstairs. Luke started a fire to keep the night chill at bay and they finally began to unwind. It’s fun and romantic nights like this that keep those butterflies in Bre’s tummy when Luke pulls her close.
